New Shahada Saturdays
As Salaamu Alaikum wa rahmatuallahi wa baraktu. We are excited to introduce our New Shahada Saturday initiative. Although we are just announcing it here today in this article, this initiative has been live since September 2022. The goal of NSS is to help new Muslimah’s feel comfortable making the transition to Islam. We see so many new sisters that come to our retail store looking for clothing, but most often, they are looking for advice and for someone who will listen to them without being judgmental.
Through this initiative, we aim to provide a safe space for sisters to come in and speak to other Muslim women about their issues and concerns. We aim to provide a welcome atmosphere where sisters can ask questions free from judgment and also learn about the beautiful way of dress of the Muslim woman. We also give a free gift bag with lovely Al Shams goodies to each of our new shahadas.
New Shahada Saturday is the first Saturday of every month. So, if you, or someone you know is a new shahada, and you live in the local community, please come by and visit us to pick up your free gift. May Allah, the most high, accept our efforts and accepts the efforts of our new sisters as they begin their journey to Islam. Ameen.

Im from NJ but im now in NC so the process is different for me here. But im doing my best inshallah “

I’ve been slowly putting together a podcast for New Shahadas and I seen you article as I prepared to order some more hijabs and I thought wow! I would love to come by and talk with you guys.
