How We Make Our Jilbabs

As Salaamu Alaikum. If you have been following us for a while, you know our JIlbabs are some of our most popular styles. Well today, you’re in for a treat! We are taking you behind the scenes on how we make these gorgeous pieces. JIlbabs are such a beautiful way to convey your modesty and we work closely on our production to ensure you get the best quality and most amazing fabrics.

That process is relatively simple but in some ways a bit tedious. Truthfully, there is nothing glamorous at all about apparel production. We always use Nida fabric which is the buttery soft fabric coveted in the Middle East for its versatility, wrinkle resistance, ease of maintenance and most importantly, comfortability in hot weather.

Each of the components are cut separately then sewn together. The seams are overlocked to ensure they are secure and clean. The skirt has an elastic waist which allows it to be one size fits all. We have to make sure the elastic is sufficient to fit properly and comfortably for a slender sister or a plus size sister.

The result is a gorgeous set that gives full coverage, flows beautifully and makes you look and feel amazing. If you have tried our Jilbabs before, drop us a comment below and let us know what you think, we would love to hear from you. If you haven’t tried them yet, get off the fence and get some of these beautiful Jilbabs. You can check out our full collection here.

I’m 5’2 2x but want to fit loose and wondering if the length is adjustable in the Abayas and Jilbabs.

I watched your “how we” videio with intent as I have many of your jilbab outfits and was interested in how they are made.

I love the end result when I have purchased the outfits and find they are beautifully made and great looking when I dress in them to go out. I always insist on wearig them with the niqab as it looks so much more proper, my only wish being for some of the colors that I could find matching gloves to make the outfit look complete. They make me feel like an elegantly dressed Muslimah Princess.

You have done an excellent job with this brand of Jilbabs.
